Previous occupation

Hi everyone! I am 29 and had my pacemaker put in 2 weeks ago. I had an ablation for svt and inappropriate sinus tachycardia. A few days after the ablation, I was back in surgery to have a pacemaker placed for bradycardia. One extreme to the other.

I was wondering if anyone on here works in the radiology field? I am wondering if I will be able to return to my previous occupation. I do x-rays and ultrasounds. I do X-rays in the emergency room and also in surgery. MRI is located in my department and our ct machine has a large generator.

Thanks in advance!

Still not back in my regular jos either. They make a meter to check for EMI and RFI. You also can have a survey done. Lots of info in your St. Jude book with a free tech line.
Also lower right side of this site is a OSUN pace alert meter that I'm trying to get work to buy for me.

Xray and ultrasounds are fine. Generators and MRI machines can be a problem if we get too close. Talk to your dr and/or rep. They can tell you more, possibly go to your workplace and test.
