Weight loss

Hi
Did anyone have weight loss before getting pacemaker. I did, it was really unexplained, not that I'm complaining. About 40lbs. fell off me several months before the pacemaker.

Gained about 10lbs back.

I did

I lost about 10 lbs in the six months before PM.

In my case, the reason pure and simple was that I felt too bad to want to eat.

Not a way to diet that I would care to repeat.

thanks

Now that I think about it, it probably was that I was feeling so bad. The only change in meds was Dr. discontinued the Cardizem and started me on Flecanide and Varapamil.

nausea

Hey MommyAshlie86. Mine was more diareaha. Had a little nausea, but not much. Weird, huh!!
Hope you're better now. You have to be with those precious little ones. 2 of my grands are around that age.

Nausea and vomiting?

Hey, I actually lost the same. I was constantly throwing up, I felt weak, and I also had bloody stools. I honestly thought I had some form of cancer and felt like I was dying, I was also afraid to go to sleep at night alone because I am a single mother of a 2 & 1/2 year old, and a 16 month old.. I thought I wouldn't wake up. Now since my pacemaker (3 weeks ago), I have only had one bloody stool at the hospital, but still get sick after eating (not throwing up anymore though).. Did you have these problems with your weight loss?

You know you're wired when...

You name your daughter “Synchronicity”.

I have a well tuned pacer. I hardly know I have it. I am 76 year old, hike and camp alone in the desert. I have more energy than I have had in a long time. The only problem is my wife wants to have a knob installed so she can turn the pacer down.
