Today was

A great day. Started out by finally using the weed wacker and it felt great! I was nervous about the vibrations but once I got going I did around the entire house with no issues at all. Took my son to pick out his birthday present, then took him fishing. We finished out the day with a mile walk up our hill. Best weekend in 6 weeks.

Good for you!

Don't be afraid to test your abilities. I have tested my device and myself to extremes and had no discernable effects (See my earlier posts.) Remember to rest and recover after exertion. Your device will soon learn your routine and abilities.

Great Days

That's it boysmom. Sometimes it just takes time and patience. Not always easy to do.

Each day should get better now and if you have a set back, just remember it is another bump in the road.

Happy Birthday to your son!

So glad that you're getting past the problems and into the "life" phase of the process we all go through.

Life, forgetting I've got this little device most of the time, until someone who knows me says "should you be doing that?" and I realize that yes I can do that if I want to.

Enjoy!

I have a ST. Jude's ICD-pacemaker. I have used the chainsaw and weed eater a lot. No problems. Haven't tried my router yet.

I'm 35 and got my pacemaker a little over a year ago. It definitely is not a burden to me. In fact, I have more energy (which my husband enjoys), can do more things with my kids and have weight because of having the energy.
