A new outlook

My personal pity party is over. Here is why.... As a director, I had to deliver news to a group of 60 associates that one of our own had passed away. She was only 60 and had a massive heart attack. What wake up call! So as I start my day today, I fully appreciate my new "thumper" who is my life partner. I hope that anyone out here who has been feeling down will read this and realize what a wonderful gift we have been given... A second chance to live our life to the fullest. Unfortunately it took such a sad event to make me appreciate how blessed I am. I saw my cardiologist in the hall yesterday ( I work at the hospital) and I gave him a big hug!!! Saw the EP yesterday also and they changed some setting. Flying high today!!!

You made my day! I am not ready to hug my cardiologist however nor the pacer rep. I will find my husband to hug.

Sometimes

by KAG - 2014-06-21 11:06:16

it takes a jolt to make us look at things a bit differently. Kind of a perspective adjustment (not unlike a PM adjustment). Things are working OK but that last tweak optimizes things.

Enjoy life!

Very Sorry

Very sorry to hear about your associate. I agree with Kathy, tragedy does put things in perspective and makes you glad for what you have.

It sounds like you turned the corner now, good for you.

Embrace and accept your new device, we are the lucky ones.

Any day is a great day to be alive!

I agree with what's been said!

Sometimes it DOES take a tragedy to realize and put things into prospective. I like a song that goes something like this--"when you're down staring up at the ceiling ........sometimes you've got to fall to fly!" I can't remember all the words but .... glad you turned the corner and are doing better sometimes that final tweek works too!

You know you're wired when...

Microwave ovens make you spark.
