Feeling human again

So in the past 5 days since my pm was put in I have felt like I was hit by a truck. Fever is now gone and cough is also almost gone. I see the cardiologist on Friday to get the stitches out and check to see how thumper is doing. I am feeling so much better today! I love my cardiologist. Have never seen anyone but him. He has not had me see his assistant, and even called me at home to see how I was feeling after being in the ER Monday. Feeling thankful this morning..

That is awesome!!!!!!!!!

I love when members share their experiences because I truly believe it helps the members who are about to get their 1st pacemaker or defib and are rather anxious about the entire ordeal...which it truly can be. because we really don't know what to expect.

You are very lucky to have such a caring doctor. My 1st cardiologist was not so good, but now I have one that I absolutely adore and that can make a huge difference, especially when communicating about your pacemaker if one happens to have any issues.

I am so glad you are feeling better. I'll assume you had some type of infection or something since you mentioned a fever and a cough??? I've often heard of that, but as with any surgery there is always risks.

And I love the name Thumper; a lot of us name our pacers or defibs :) Mine is called Wilson.

Keep us posted.

Take care,
Pookie

Glad to hear it
