I arrived in the cardiac unit the day before my third class medical was scheduled. I have total av block 100% paced. Curious to know how many current pilots are members and if you were able to get your medical. Being 100% paced, I think risking being denied my medical would take away the sport option for me as well as when the FAA gets off their thumb and passes the drivers license rule for GA. Any feedback would be appreciated!

Another Pilot here since 1958, and just knew you would pop the 3rd class medical issue. I'll soon send you a Private Message as I get past the Mother's Day obligation this Sunday. Thanks for your posting as we've got lots to share !!

HI Winglesspilot,

I am 57 and went to the ER with a pulse of 38 and dropping. I have a 2nd Degree Heart Block Type II. Next thing I know I have a wing man. Was a professional aviator fly a Citation X in Canada. A pro pilot on this site had a PM installed in December and the FAA cut him loose in 2 months. Transport Canada told me 3 months. Still waiting to get my wings back. I expect a release by mid June. No sure about the 100% Heart Block issue.
