Got mine on 6/5/2014. Left V. lead irritated Phrenic nerve causing diaphragm spasms. Tech adjusted voltage so I rarely have spasms anymore.

low heart rate

I am a 70 year old male and had a st: jude pacemaker installed 30 may 2014. I have severe c.o.p.d. and use oxygen 24-7 . I use a finger type oximeter which reads oxygen level and heart rate. The meter reads low heart rates frequently from 50 to 24 . my pacemaker is set at 70 for the low and 100 for the high . The tech staf and cardiologist say it is a false reading caused by my heart skipping beats. has anyone else had this problem

I love this new part of me, and very, very thankful that this technology exists and I know that it's all only going to get better over time.
