Meds?

New ICD. Will I be on meds forever? Asked Dr. but no answer yet. Was cleaning the yard today and fell sun burnt. Out there 4 hours. Might have to sell my ski boat?

My wife and I talked about the sunscreen. Yes we are adjusting.

Depending on what the underlying cause of needing an ICD , you may be on meds for rest of your life. As far as the sunburn, certain meds make you more sensitive to sunlight and thy advise to avoid prolonged exposure. We have these to prolong our life in some cases and in all to improve our quality of life, therefore we don't end our activities but rather make adjusts to them. In other words heavy sunscreen and there is lightweight clothing that has protection as well. I have received some nasty sunburns even with strong sunscreen but I cannot give up exposure, I am just more aware. You'll figure out your own balance as well.
