I am moving to Spain permanently in a few weeks time. Having just had my Pacemaker fitted 10 weeks ago, I am aware the scar tissue is still fresh, but has anybody any suggestions about the sun and pacemakers, as naturally I can not sit inside all day.

Keep it out of the sun as much as you can for one year. Wear high quality sunscreen when you are outside.

Scar tissue seems to be very prone to UV damage , particularly while it is at the pink stage. It seems to me that melanin production never returns to normal in some scars , and it can take months for some scar tissue to tolerate strong UV .
BUT : stay indoors in Spain; I think not; you may as well stay in the UK !
Why not just cover up that area ( it is quite small ! ) or use a high factor sunscreen on it until it can tolerate the lovely Spanish sunshine ?
I hope you enjoy your change of life
