Hi Everyone,
Doing quite well. I'll have my 1st Echo next month after Medtronic's Viva XT CRD-D implant mid-March. I was 15% EF last November , with dilated LV, and mitral valve moderate-severe regurgitation. I have been "smoking " the bike trails since keeping up with the healthy bikers with 22 mile runs.
Last evening I assisted a guy 15 years my junior with making this bike run.. Yes! While he huffed and puffed up the hills and valleys, I was there to advise " I know a good cardio that can implant a pacer that can help you with that shortness of breath issue you are experiencing!"
I don't think my suggestion went over well with him but that's just what these things can do for you if your body adapts.
Enjoying every minute, and waiting for my next Echo.
Dave

Test or not

Seeing the test numbers "improve" is affirming, but I doubt if you need a test to tell you that you are better.
It's great that things are going so well for you. The positive, can do attitude you exhibit can turn into a wonderful self-fulling prophecy.
Here's to good tests, and to feeling good.
