10 days post 1st implant. Feeling really good. No pain, HR been above 50, which is great. Starting to think the worst thing about getting the PM was the 2 weeks I had to wait to get it. I went for a 3 mile walk yesterday and had no issues. My Doc said I had to make sure I did not swing my arm and to wear my sling when i speed walk so I don't forget and start swinging it. I guess if wearing it allows me to get back out walking and doing races then I am I will wear it. Tuesday my walking group does 5 miles so hoping all is good. Happy Memorial Day All!

I'm happy for you that you're feeling good and doing better! I hear ya when you said the worst thing about PM was the waiting to get it! We knew something was wrong but it took a couple of months and a month long holter for me before they could figure it out. Once we knew what the problem was I didn't have to wait long. Found out on a Friday and they put in the PM on Monday!! I'd been silently screaming help for a LONG time prior to that. I had a good attitude of this too shall pass but was getting really frustrated. my dr. knew it but until he saw the report couldn't figure it out. Be careful the first few weeks until the leads are set then have at it. I just got clearance on Friday and have no restrictions. They also set my upper limit up a little. Remember it might take some tweeking to get it just right especially for those that are really active. They don't mind.
