Just went to Cleveland Clinic after a change of doc that left me wanting more information. My EP doc left and I was not happy with the replacement so I went to Cleveland Clinic. The new doc told me that the treatment I had (total ablation of the SA node) is not a customary or suggested treatment for my diagnosis (IST incompetent sinus tachycardia). That I should have been treated with medications, not a pacemaker for life. Now I have found that the doctor that did my procedure has lost his medical license for malpractice. There are several cases listed but the one in my state was not filed as he voluntarily surrendered his license. Any one else dealt with anything like this? Docs name is Ronald Jay Haberman.

I am so sorry to hear that. I have been wondering the same thing about my situation. So this thing is not reversible I guess. I wish I had known that as well. Hope tecnology improves so that it may be removed. Who knows.
