prom and graduation

hi everyone, my eighteen year old granddaughter is graduating may 30th. the prom has been cancelled because the teachers don't want the responsibility of the students drinking. there were five university of calgary students knifed to death by a young man a month ago who had been accepted in to law school there at age 23. now he is looking at 25 years in prison. everyone is frightened. it is the world to-day i am afraid. at first i thought they had heard about me in my grade 12 year and the prom. lol just trying to be funny. the graduation is in the evening with parents only at a dinner. they to don't want any trouble. so i am planning on going west for my granddaughter and wish her the best at university next year. who would ever have thought?

Yes, it does seem that the world has gone crazy. However, we always hear about the bad things happening, yet hardly ever about all the good that is being done, and all the good people in the world. The media seems to reveal in the bad.
