2 weeks post pm for third degree heart block. I had the settings adjusted so I could actually sleep but now I'm experiencing a light dull ear ache n sore throat on the same side as the PM implant. It comes and goes and is not that painful. Any information will be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like you picked something up at the hospital. I've had a cold or something a week or two after every surgery.

Got pain in jaw

Post PM implant I had quite a bit of pain. Part of the pain went from underneath my collar bone up into my jaw. Pain was intermittent. Sometimes it was pain, sometimes it was thumping in the jaw, sometimes a dull ache.
I saw a licensed massage therapist for the pain. She was able to do a lot over a three month period.
At the 90 day period I went in to have a reading don on my PM. The dropped the voltage in the PM. I don't know the settings but they dropped it to .875 of a volt on the atrial side. As soon as they dropped the voltage the pain and thumping in my jaw went away. Probably because my heart wasn't getting as hard of a jolt and wasn't beating as hard as before.
One of the things you can check with your EP is if they have the voltage set high. That may be causing the pain you're experiencing.
If you look at how the human embryo develops, you'll see the throat, ear, jaw, and all that develops from the same area so there are a lot of nerves in common througout.
Hope this helps.
