Dr. Appt. today looks good, back to exercise

I saw the doctor today, all seems good. She took out the sutures from the pacemaker and told me I could get on my recumbent bike and pedal away and get a good workout. First time my pulse has been up to 90 in years, so the pacemaker did it's job. I felt great, no chest pain, a little sweaty so all is good. She is going to do a stress test to make sure that the A-fib was not caused by any blockages and also do an ultrasound of my neck to check for blockages there as well. She started me on Coumadin today, so I am a little nervous, but she told me to eat what ever I normally eat and they will adjust the Coumadin to my eating pattern. So far so, good. No A-fib incidents. Moving upward. Thanks so all who have been so kind to help me. I hope as I continue my journey, I can help someone as well. You are all wonderful to share and help with great suggestions.

So glad to hear that your appointment today went well and that you're happily exercising again. Interesting about adjusting the Coumadin to adapt to your eating choices; I never knew that.
Keep up the good work!

Coumadin

I have been taking warfarin (coumadin) for years and that is exactly they have done with me. When I get out of range because of some event in my life, a surgery, etc., they fine tune it until I come back into range. Just be sure it is monitored closely.
