Merry Christmas Jessie and to all of the other acquaintances I have made on this wonderful site. What would we have done without it?

i just wrote a long post then lost it grrr. the support i got here was phenomonal. my husband is another matter. i get no support re him and his heart issues unless i come here. there are no self help groups unless you have cancer and yet this is also like a cancer. i went to midnite services to-night and we prayed for the families in conneticut. i strongly feel that mental hospitals need to come back and enough already living in the community..some people need to be locked up to avoid these horrible trajedies. i worked in mental health my whole life and saw the changes and not all were for the good. i could write a book about the pros and cons of a physchotic person remaining in the community. a lot of my peers would have me tarred and feathered for saying this but i feel so strongly that these little people would still be with us if he had been in a hospital on a locked ward.the teachers as well ..the poor teachers beautiful people just doing a job they loved. well enough merry christmas smitty and dot hugs jessie
