Puzzled but not complaining

I'm feeling better--way better--and I don't know why.

My pacemaker was implanted August of 2012. Due to undiagnosed pacemaker syndrome, I lived with increasingly severe, sudden onset pain that could bring me to my knees, and worsening quality of life for 18 months.

More than once I questioned if a pacemaker had been good idea, since I rarely felt more than half alive.

Once the pacemaker syndrome was dealt with, I no longer had the sudden pain. Life was better, but I still had PVC episodes that left me faint, swimmy-headed, and exhausted most of the time. Overall there was little improvement in my quality of life. I spent most of my days sitting, with my feet up, unable to do more.

About 6-8 weeks ago, I gradually started improving. Good days were better, bad days not so bad. Every week was a little better. For the last week I have felt completely, normally, well.

I have the energy to do anything I want.

The only thing that I know of that has changed is that I am now being paced 100%, up from about 60 in November.

Could the fact that my heart is no longer trying to pace itself, and therefore no longer throwing in PVCs and PACs, be the reason I'm feeling so much better? Or is the whole idea absurd?

Or could the cause be something else? Unlike many Springs when the weather can turn hot by the first of May, cool weather has lasted much longer.

Thoughts anyone?
