Happy 1st PM birthday to me!

Hi Everyone,

One year ago today I got my pacer. Wow, how time flies! I can't believe it's been a whole year already. I am doing good. My last report showed I am pacing about 25% of the time. I see my doc in April. My life is totally back to normal except for those stubborn few pounds I gained during my recovery, but I'm working on that!

I just want to say a big THANK YOU to all of you. The support and encouragement I received here was unbelievable and without it I would not have handled everything as good as I did, especially the mental adjustment.

You guys are the best and I'm proud to be a member of this great family!

I hope everyone is doing well. Take care and enjoy your day!
~Sheila

......when is the big bash? We are all invited, aren't we?

Lessee, now - you live in Iowa - where the Feb snow is deeper than the August corn (Maize) is tall. That means that we all bring shovels so we can get to your place (A cheap way to get dug out) OR - you can do what the Queen does - hold the B'day in the middle of summer - when you can literally hear the corn grow.

I remember the great blizzard of 1979 when in Middletown we had drifts taller than some of our buildings & it took a front loader to dig our way in to the doors. Took us two weeks of plowing 24/7 to clear 120 miles of railroad tracks using a borrowed snow blower 8 ft in diameter mounted on the front of a diesel locomotive.

Now THAT was a snow storm!

Thanks to you, too!
