Hi Everyone,

Hope you all are doing well today. Except for the people on this site, I do not know anybody in "real life" with a PM. Last night while grocery shopping I ran into a friend's mom whom I hadn't seen in awhile. I asked her how my friend was doing (I have not had any contact with her in over 3 years!) and she said good. We got to talking and the conversation turned to my health and my sudden need for a PM. She then told me my friend found out while having surgery for something else that her heart stopped and she had to get a PM about a year and a half ago. I was totally shocked! She called me this morning and we talked for almost an hour about how each of us had to get a PM! Wow, I just could not believe it.

It was so good to be back in touch with her. Who would have thought that having a PM would bring us back together! I guess good things can happen because of it We plan on meeting sometime soon so we can swap stories and compare scars! Lol ~ it is a small world indeed! I told her about this site so I hope she checks it out!
