Road to recovery!

After a winter season of unexplained lightheadedness and feeling occasionally out of it, I embarked on 6 months of doctor visits and a PM for bradycardia in Feb.; 6 "rec room" procedures [hysterectomy, hernia, & various prolapses] done in one surgery in July, and am now flying high and happy - having passed all my post-op checkups with flying colors.

I am now walking up the road hills in the dunes every day, starting core exercises, and going back to hydro strength classes at the gym. I fit in all my slacks, can reach down and paint my toenails, can go out for a walk without having a"babysitter" go with me, and am at my college weight. Modern medicine is wonderful!

I celebrated also by buying a Polar simple FT1 heart monitor that works fine and is easier to see than the finger oximeter I was using to see if I could get my heart beat up near 130. With the bradycardia, I couldn't get it over 105 and didn't know that everybody wasn't as low as I was. No problems with being out of breath or coming to a sudden stop now during a low key exercise class. I am 75 and feel 55.
