We speak casually on this site about 1) electrical problems; and 2) plumbing problems. But is there a third category? Mechanical problems?

What about vasovagel?

I have a my PM for vasovagal syncope. I guess it's an electrical problem but it's not with the hart but with the central nervous system. So I am not sure what category that would be under.

I have had my PM for 5 days. During the previous month leading up to this, I had many discussions with my sister (a retired RN) about the why and how of my condition, I kept trying to compare my heart condition to how my car engine works. My sister continues to tell me: "You are not a car."

Valve replacement

You could probably list valve replacement under mechanical although it's lumped under plumbing. Some might say we're splitting hair. But in my mind a valve isn't the same as a problem with an artery or vein.
