Is This Normal and/or Should I Report This?

It seems that when I do strenuous yard work, I sort of kick off an entire day with goofy rhythms. I try to rest during my yard binges once I realize that something's happening but it seems like I never "reset" to something more normal. I am usually having a lot of PVCs and that sort of thing which is apparently nothing to worry about. But this is different.

On Monday, should I do a CareLink download to my cardiologist's office or should I just figure that this is the way my life is going to go at times?

I'm 5 months post PM and have generally been feeling very well after a rough beginning.

I'd call

I would probably check with dr. before sending carelink at least that's what my dr. said to do. They might be able to give you advice as to what you should do--they may tell you to wait for the next time it's happening then send carelink but that's up to them. I was told never to send anything to them without calling first unless it's a scheduled send.(but again that's my dr. policies not yours) How are you feeling?? sometimes your heart can just do goofy rhythms. I know mine did before my PM. I think that's one of the reasons I got my PM. it's helped to stabilize the rhythms for sure. I still get bouts of a-fib but it seems like now that i'm past my 2 months even that's slowed down.

Goofier Now Than Prior To PM

I feel ok and things have settled down a bit. I felt weird before.

I always call just before or right after a transmission.

Rhythms

Perhaps you are dehydrated? This sounds basic, but abnormal electrolytes cause dysrhythmias. Get these checked if it doesn't get better. Otherwise, stay hydrated. Drink plenty of water and be sure that if it is strenuous work, get some form of salt.. best is to drink Gatorade and cut it in half with water.

Do you take diuretics? They can also effect electrolyte balance, and if this is the case, combined with strenuous work, can really throw things off.
