Mammograms?

Quick question. Doing really well almost 5 months post PM placement (dual chamber). Due for mammogram this summer. Any infotmation on safety/problems or alternatives welcomed. No better place to come for information than here. BTY, I am 68 years old. Thanks. Jeanie

Mammos are fine for us, just let them know you have a PM so they won't squeeze so hard where the device is located.

Sometimes they have a hard time seeing behind the device....at least in my case, so now they also do an ultrasound to see behind it.

After 5 months you should be good to go.
