I had a St Jude two lead PM implanted Feb 5 2014 because of BRADY and SSS. For the most part, the PM has made a significant difference, no head aches, on SOB, and only an occasional dizziness.. However, I have had three instances where I feel a lot like I did before the PM implant. The first such instance was after about a month. I went to the pacemaker clinic and the nurse did an interrogation and said things were fine. She said she made some minor adjustment, I don't know what, but the next day I felt better. This some thing happened after about two months. I saw the PM nurse again, and she made some minor adjustments, including lowering the voltage, and I started feeling better. However, here I go again. I have an on going headache and occasionally am light headed. This has been going on for three days. Prior to this present episode, I had started walking and keeping track of my total steps walked during the day. ( using a new pedometer I purchased - a Fitbit - would highly recommend). A couple of days I had reached approx 8000 steps (goal being 10,000). I don't know if this has any correlation or not to my current problems. Based on what I had read on this web site, I did obtain a written report of each of the two previous interrogations. My lower rate limit is 70 and Max tracking rate is 120. I am paced in the RA 93% of the time and the RV 86% of the time. Any ideas or suggestion would be welcome.
Thanks, Chase

is to look at your max tracking rate. 120 seems awfully low if you're active. Since you have SSS your Rate Response is probably On. There also might be an upper or max sensing rate associated with RR.
Do you know what your HR would get up to prior to your PM? If you do they usually set the upper track rate to slightly above that.
I don't use RR so I haven't learned much about that but I'd talk to your PM techs about it.
