...to read my little monograph called "Some Tough Love for Newbies." Go to the SEARCH function, top right corner of page. Search for th title I just wrote you. It should come up as second entry down. Open it up - it's long.

It should answer a bunch of questions for you & help you sort out a lot of common issues Newbies face & wonder about.

Always glad to see new people join us, there is a lot to learn about PMs and lots of folks here to help with any question you might have. You might have information that could help one of us, so please share, It is helpful of you give a history of why you have a PM. Come back often. Jean

In addition to Don's post for newbies you can search for newbies, new PM, etc... Lots and lots of posts on this topic since we're all newbies to start with.

Allow yourself time to heal. Follow your Dr's instructions on not raising your site side arm above your shoulder, but do gently move it to keep from frozen shoulder. No heavy lifting for usually 6 weeks.

Get a copy of your PM interrogation report when they check it. It will have all the info on your PM modes and settings. If you have any questions, this is the site to ask about them. They send you home with average settings which may need tweaking for your activities. Make sure to let us know why you got your PM, SSS, AV Block, any other problems? It can help in getting questions answered.

Most important is to get back to your normal activities as soon as possible. Listen to your body.

Welcome to the club
