So I got my pacemaker 15 days ago, I am not saying I want to smoke pot anytime soon but can I smoke with my pacemaker. I don't care for judgment and how it makes you lazy blah.blah.blah but could I smoke pot ever again? My pacemaker works 100% of the time because I have such a low heart rate. I did to much molly which is upper and a club drug. Which is return made me go into 3rd degree heart block.. :( I need to smoke pot because I can't handle this on my own

it is your decision BUT there is loads of evidence that smoking pot increases the chances of you having atrial fibrillation and a stroke.
As you already have electrical problems of the heart it is just possible that the pot could load the dice against you in the future ! I certainly wouldn't do it but do you have the will power not to ? Only you know the answer.

...what you are asking is "SHOULD" you smoke pot?
Sorry, I cannot answer that one.
You have already made the decision, you are just looking for an enabler.

whilst i have the greatest respect for people with pacemaker problems , its the ones like you that make me sick you either want to live or smoke yourself to death that is up to you and you seem to have made up your mind , it costs around £2000 or more to give you a pacemaker and makes it harder for a genuine person to be given one ...grow up and get a life or lose it
really?

Sounds like some drugs have not been good for you,Id guess most here do not rely on pot to deal with this, myself included. You sound like you think you need weed to deal, but in all actuality, its a crutch.
Back in the day,I did indulge in some things, but then I grew up.
Just me,good luck,

You know you're wired when...
Your pacemaker receives radio frequencies.

A properly implanted and adjusted pacemaker will not even be noticeable after you get over the surgery.
I used to..

I used to smoke, drink and everything in between. After I got the PM implanted, I quit all of it, like literally the next day. I'm not going to preach you. I'm just telling you my own story. I wish you well.
