About 99.999% of the stuff you'll run into during the normal course of your life won't affect your PM.

We have people who are working in power plants, arc welding, running chain saws, operating heavy equipment, and working as electricians. All with few or no problems.

I have driven underneath TV broadcasting towers that cause interference on monitors. (They look like waves on a sea shore.) No problem.

The equipment in a car wash doesn't come anywhere near strong enough to affect your PM.
