Funny sensation

Hello all,
Just seeking some advice please.
Had a 2 lead PPM Implanted in January 2014.
Recovered well with a new lease of life with all the energy I have.
Last saw Cardiologist in Sept. He said the interrogation showed I was using the atrial lead 80% of the time.
Told him that every so often I get like a twitching sensation which at times is uncomfortable. It is sort of just to the left of the sternum half way down. I guess it is the ventricular lead which, although on is not firing at all.
I asked the Cardiologist if it was the lead sort of floating around but he said 'no' as the lead would be endotheliased which I take to mean that it is imbedded within the blood vessel wall. I did have this same sensation when it first went in but after a few weeks it stopped. Anyhow now I am becoming more and more aware of the sensation which is starting to irritate me besides being uncomfortable.
Has anyone experienced this? Any suggestions, ideas or tips are most welcome.

I occasionally get twinges and it's been over a year for me. Sometimes it even feels like my heart stops completely and the PM has to take over. I'm sensitive to the electrical pulses from my PM. Some people are, most aren't. Right after I got it I could tell when it kicked in. After they lowered the voltage I'm not bothered so much.

If you're still feeling the PM activation ask your EP if they can lower the voltage on the PM. Maybe they won't but at least you can ask.

Thanks for responses. I know think I am a bit more aware of when it is kicking in. I hate going into or near some shops. Must be to do with their shop security as it fires off.

Not due for next interrogation until March 2015. Will see what happens over next few weeks/months
