I did a 66 mile ride just before getting a PM ( London to Oxford, here in the UK ) and am thinking of doing it again.
Like you I have SSS and have a Medtronic PM . Do you mind telling me , are you chronotropically incompetent ?
i.e. do you need rate response turned on. I ask because , the Medtronic RR accelerometer sensor gets lots of criticism on here especially when it comes to cycling, but, in its defence, I seem to be able to cycle with no problems and I wondered what your experience has been ?
Well done by the way, it is a great way to raise money for charity .

I have no idea, I am going to the cardiologist 5-29, the medtronic rep will be their. I can ask. But as far as the ride no problem with heart rate I can post the link to the activity it has all the data if you want to see it.

If you look at your pacemaker card , you may see DDD or something similar which means Rate response is switched off, or DDDR which means it is switched on; the letter "R " is the clue.
Many people with sick sinus syndrome ( but not all ) have it switched on
Cheers
