Keep distance, increase HR

Keep the distance the same for a few days. You'll want to increase the heart rate as you start to feel better. 5 days post surgery is pretty fast, but from what I've seen on the forum, if you only get the PM you can come back a lot faster.

They had me exercise up to angina then drop back to a lower level and exercise at that level for a few days. Exercising at a lower level strengthened the heart and "pushed" the angina level up. Sounds counter intuitive but that's what works.

Hope you continue to feel better.
