I had to wait a whole week before my first shower and boy did it ever feel good! Sounds like you are doing really well. That is great to hear. My roads still are too icy for me to go walking plus the actual temp here is -3 with a w/c of -21 but starting Monday I can drive again - yippee! Keep up the good work!!

UConn grad here, but congrats on your walk and keep on keeping on. My wife agreed when I hit day 4 after my recent shoulder surgery. Those sponge baths just don't do it.

Medical Alert Bracelet

by quickclick - 2014-02-28 12:02:59

How many PM users have a medical alert bracelet that they wear when out? I am curious as to the benefit of having it. I have the cards that alert medical that I have an implant. I also carry a list of all my meds with me.
What about the pad that is advertised for the seatbelt?
I am three weeks with the PM and not driving yet, however, the seatbelt does irritate my surgical spot. I still have my steri stripes and stitches. I don't expect to have them removed for another three weeks, unless the stripes fall off on their own.
