PAIN BY INCISION SITE

Have had my 2nd ICD for 2 months now but last few days have been experiencing burning type of pain at top of device by incision site-area is not infected and otherwise no other problems.Anyone else had this type of pain?

Nerves healing

Yeah, it's the nerves healing in that area. At nine months my PM pocket started itching like you wouldn't believe. Had to be careful when I was scratching the area.

Nerve regeneration would feel more like ant bites or sharp needle sticks.

If it truly feels like a burning feeling ask your Doctor to take a look at it.

Thank you for your comments-didn't get this feeling with 1st ICD and just wondered what could be after 2 months.Will keep eye on it and see how it goes.
