recorder/diaphragmatic pacing

Hey guys hope everyone is well??? Just a quick one. Had pm put in in january due to heart stopping for 17 sec a time each time I passed out. Due to hospitals lack of communication they forgot to take my loop recorder out so im having it out this thurs afternoon. Ive told work il be back by Monday but just wondered if anyone else has had it removed if its ok with little pain? Also if anyone has any info on diaphragmatic pacing? Ive been feeling little flicks on the left of my chest like under my ribs ever since ive had my pm mainly when I sit on sofa or lay on my left side but every time I say it to the pm techs they look at me like ive lost my marbles.....I finally got someone to listen to me and im hoping to get an app with a rep from pm company to see whats occuring.... do you think if I ask my doc when they do my chest xray to remove recorder whether they could glance at wheres leads are etc as they are def stimulating something else aswell as my heart lol? ?? Xx

Diaphragmatic pacing

I had the same thing for a while after my unit was installed 6 years ago. If I lay on my right side and placed my right arm over my head I could feel the pacing stimulating my diaphragm. It was weird and my cardiologist had not come across this before. Eventually once everything settled down it stopped doing it but this took about 3-6 months. If it is only doing it occasionally then it should not be a problem, if it is more constant they may need to move a lead.
