I am new to this site. I have a medtronics pm/defib device. I bought a new phone and have problems with static and cutting out on the other end. I hear them fine. They can't here me. I have called my phone company. These do something but it still continues. Could this interference be caused by my device?

I have a Medtronics too. It doesn't cause any interference like you described.
Most Likely NOT...

...it's most likely the phone company's problem.
We had exactly the same problem. It took the Phone Co 5 visits to fix it. Every visit, they did something different - something that actually needed to be done.
In the end, they found no less than a dozen phone lines that were bad in out area. Most of the problems were caused by a lightning strike that fried several wires & burned out ground connections.
Just keep after them is all I can recommend. The guys who finally isolated the problem were the DSL guys at the Tech Spt phone number.

I had a similar problem with my cordless phone, after a lot of calls and a visit to our house by the phone provider, it was still not sorted . I found out that the filters that they put on the phone outlets were not good enough, even though they were all brand new, I bought some "Belkin" brand ones from my local electrical shop and it has been perfect ever since, that was 5 years ago and before I had a pacemaker. My eight year old son had a pacemaker since he was 6 months old. He does very well, plays soccer, baseball, and rides his bike. I am so glad he is not ashamed of his pacemaker. He will proudly show his "battery" to anyone.
Does the phone co. hear you...

on that phone? Is the mute button on? Some phones/ brands work better than others. If you ruled all this out, try another phone.
Good luck,
