rash

Hello I am 2 weeks post surgery for pacer implant. I have had a rash since second day home. Initially thought was just a heat rash under both arms. Now not so sure, I am itching now in all warm spots as well as torso, scalp, backs of knees and mostly in groin area (warm spots). itching sucks. Read a article about an individual that was allergic to components of the pacer, I have never to my knowledge been allergic to any metals or plastics. Has this been discussed on here at an earlier date?

I reacted like that to antibiotics with sulfa. Call, something is definitely going on, most likely not the pm, but it does sound like allergies imo

It sounds like an allergy to something. A couple of years ago there were posts on here regarding allergy to silicone which is a component of PMs but this is quite rare.

SPARROW gives good advice: see a dermatologist !
