protection vest

I understand there are vests advertized on the internet to shield the wearer from the electromagnetic fields of chain saws, log splitters etc. Can anyone help me to find one or more? Anyone have any advice for me re the aforementioned tools?

PM PROTECTION

I don't know about the vests. I've had my PM 12 years and never felt the need for any protective clothing.

As for the internal combustion engines my advice is keep your PM 3 or 4 inches away from the spark plug(s) on them and forget about the PM. Should you ever inadvertently hit an area that has an EMF that will affect your PM it will feel like a very irregular heart beat so long as the PM is in range of whatever. As soon as you get our of the range (a couple of feet) your heart rate and PM will return to normal an not harm will be done to either.

Good luck,

...SCAM! Short of a complete deep water diver's suit of steel, plated w/ silver, nothing can completely protect you from EM radiation & EM fields.

Smitty & Sparrow are dead right!

Sounds dodgey to me. Only problem i've had was with an electric drill with a lambswool pad fixed to polish a car. Got very sweaty, faint & nauseous. Stopped & quickly returned to normal. Wouldn't do it again.

be your vest. The best thing that I've found when trying out new things, electrical or motorized, is to approach cautiously. If I feel fine, which has been the case so far, I get to work. Do not have fear when approaching though, anxiety can cause weird symptoms too.

Oh and try not to hug the equipment to your PM and you should be fine. I usually try to use the 6 inch rule.
