Hello All! Just thought I would post this to the community at large, and see your thoughts.
Last Saturday I got caught in that snowstorm that raked through Ohio. I was playing with the orchestra, and after rehearsal they had not cleared the alleyway of the 6 inches of heavy wet snow that had accumulated.
Me being the klutz that I am totally slipped and fell in the snow. Luckily didn't get hurt other than bruises and bruised pride, but I'm worried about sparky, especially since this week my BP has been lower than what it normally runs. (Normal is usually115/75 and I have been as low as 88/54 this week) I am only 8 weeks post op, is it possible I screwed something up when I went down? I did fall pretty hard.
Thanks for any responses.

Medications

Are you taking any medications. My BP runs around what you mentioned. That is my new normal but it is caused by medication. It wasn't like that at first but after a few weeks of the meds, that is what it changed to.
Bp went down

Post PM and trauma - over 60 days - my blood pressure is all over the place. The medical people don't get excited about it as long as I feel good.
So if you feel OK otherwise, I'd make the call to be sure but otherwise wouldn't get too excited about it.
I went the other way, started using the BP monitor and it went up. So I kept at it and my BP kept going up. Punched the button to go to the ER. They gave me morphine to get rid of the anxiety and my BP went to normal minutes. Went home and put my BP cuff away. If I don't have a headache and I'm not passing out, I don't worry about the BP.
Since you're in Ohio, get the attachments for your boots that allow you to walk on ice without slipping. Ohio is notorious for the black ice. You don't need the extra thumps.

not likely

It's unlikely you damaged the pm. If your hr is normal, you are still pacing. The pm does not affect bp. If you don't feel well, then call and ask to be seen. Better safe than sorry.
I'm a bit opposite

When it comes to stress, my BP likes to drop instead of rise. This has been a very stressful week, with three concerts for this Music Teacher.
I did call my EP because they have said to call anytime my systolic drops below 100 for the next few months, as they are trying to get my beta blocker dose regulated for my tachy since the PM is there to take care of the brady now. His PA said that since I am 8 weeks out, that this is I when some of thee regulating issues can show up, since the healing process is pretty much done for a non-traumatic insertion. I mentioned the fall, which was a good couple of days before the low BP and The PA said I would have known immediately if I pulled a lead.
The thing that scared me a bit about the fall is that was the first time I really felt the pocket and incision pull. I fell mostly on my rump and left side, mostly bruised my left elbow.
So, the past few days I have been feeling better, I am ready to chalk up this problem to "The Most Wonderful Time of the Year". BP has been back up to my normal of 115/75. Thanks for all the advice, and thoughts.

Probably not, but if you are worried about it, then to make sure call your EP or cardio and tell them what happened and you bp. They can then see you or reassure you much better than I can. When in doubt or worried call, your paying to be taken care of. Good luck Jean
