had my metronic 3 lead for 2 years. no problem. i live in mexico and language is somewhat a barrier. everything just fine but i start getting some swelling primarily on my left ankle and calf. a little on the right. go to my internist and he orders up an ultrasound. shows chronic DVT. he prescribes zarelto for a week. decide to see my cardio guy. it's bee a year. he says no to zarelto and puts me on elicuis 5 mg 2 x a day and caudaline 100mg 1x per day. both for 6 months. for my heart i've also been on micardis plus 12.5 mg 1 x a day and temerit 5 mg 2 x a day. everything fine with those for last 2 yrs. coming into his office 4 days a go, BP at 126/76, pulse at 74. oxygen saturation at 5%. ekg and echogram all look great. he puts me on monitor to check my devise and adjusts it from 60 bpm to 70 and tells me to see him in 6 mo for DVT. that afternoon pulse jumps to 104 and stays there. feel fine but tough sleeping since i can hear my pulse thru my ear. i go back yesterday and he say no correlation. he readjusts back to 60 bpm and prescribes i back off on temerit to 1x a day and adds norfenon 150 mg 2 x a day. been 4 days on DVT meds and a little better. just 1 day on arrhythmia med and pulse unchanged. i sit a lot and have been raising my leg every hour. not much change. i also work out on machine, walk and do 10-15 long flights of stairs. never smoked and 5 ft 11 inch and 170 lb. i'm going back up to UCLA in july for a checkup but this cardio guy is well trained in usa and tops here in baja. ideas??? some of the drug names may be mexican names. gracias a todo

I am not planning on letting any of this shorten my life. I am planning on living a long happy battery operated life. You never know maybe it will keep me alive longer. I sure know one thing I would have been dead before starting school without it.
