i posted a couple of days ago and got some good info. i live in baja mexico and my cardio doc is out of town for a week. my medtronic is doing 100% of the work. put in in nov 2013. no problems. doc prescribed MICARDIS 12.5 mg and TEMERIT 5mg daily. TEMERIT is also known as NEBILETor NEBIVOLOL HYDROCLORIDE. everything perfect until a few days ago. started feeling light headed and some dizzyness. had a blackout and fell. similar to before the PM. checked my B/P and seemed low. 100/51 was lowest. during day would go up some, maybe to 118/64. pulse ok at 80. saw the doc before he went on vacation. he did an ekg and said everything looks fine and normal. i'm still feeling strange and since i can't get ahold of doc, wondering if i should stop taking my B/P meds and see if pressure goes up and i feel better. don't want to self medicate, but looking for some answers and this forum looks like it has members who have been in same situation. thanks and keep the answers flowing

I am 100% pacemaker dependant and have been all my life. I try not to think about how a little metal box keeps me alive - it would drive me crazy. So I lead a very active life.

I am not familiar with those meds, but you might want to check with your pharmacist. He could tell you which one you might hold back on till Dr. returns. I have two meds that interact that can cause a buildup up in my system and lowers my B/P to 90s/40s where I cannot function. Had to temporarily go off one for awhile, but now back on both but check my B/P a couple of times a week to be sure it does not go too low. I had same symptoms as you. Hope this helps, but keep in close contact with your doctor's office. Having a blackout is not safe.
