One year anniversary

8-Oct - My one year anniversary with the PM. Unfortunately I was unconscious when I got the PM so I'm taking my wife's word about it.

So for the newbies, things do get better. There were times in this past year that I thought things would never get better. But they did.

There were times when I would ask myself if I would ever get back to some level of normal. But I did.

Hang in there. Life does get better.

My best wishes to all.

I was 1 year with my PM on October 2nd (mine came during a trip to the ER but at least I was conscious). On September 27th I ran my fastest 5k ever. A positive attitude is good medicine. Congrats! Always like seeing your posts.

Good to know

It's good to hear you are feeling better too.

Sometimes it is hard to be patient. Time is a good friend.

It's nice to see this past years newbies graduating. :-)

Take care,

Grateful Heart

But I think it will make me feel a lot better. My stamina to walk is already better, even right after surgery. They had me walk all around the floor before they would release me. I did so without being exhausted and winded the way I had been.
