I have three concerns: (1) I must move a lot in my sleep, because the battery pack shifts, sometimes it's side ways. I'm afraid to reposition it for fear I may twist it. (2) I'm in the ministry so I'm in constant need of my laptop. However, I get so many strange sensations and ultimately fatigue. I stopped using it and turned to my Kindle Fire. How do the rest of you handle this situation? (3) Last, is there a Support Group in the Chicago area? If not, are any of you interested in being a part of such a group? I've had my pacemaker for nearly three months.

A pacemaker completely solved my problem. In fact, it was implanted just 7 weeks ago and I ran a race today, placed first in my age group.

1. Try hugging a small pillow with your left arm (assuming the pm is on the left). I would get it looked at. It shouldn't be moving that much.
2. Laptops should have no effect on it. I've never found a home appliance or electronic gadget that has any effect, including the magnetic cover on my ipad. I'm 100% paced so I'd feel it pretty quickly. I even took the ipad cover to an appointment to see if we could get it to interfere, it did not
3. There are very few support groups but lots of us here online to chat with. We probably have members in your area, but I can't think of any off the top of my head.
