That's not going to have anything to do with your pacemaker, did you have a temporary pacemaker put in prior to the surgery? That could cause some discomfort, but not a permanent one.

I'll let the other's answer your sleeping questions. They have the experience that I do not.

sleeping

It took a few weeks for me to get comfortable enough to sleep all night. I like to sleep on my side but only my back was comfortable, then I'd roll in my sleep and wake up from the pain. I got a small pillow and hugged it with my left arm, this supported the arm and kept me from rolling.

Get the pain checked, but I'd start at the gp. If it's a lump, that can be infection, you've got lymph nodes down there.

Did you have any other procedures done. That day as we'll? Such as an ablation? Just trying to figure out the groin pain. As far as the sleep- that is probably the hardest thing during this journey. I wore a sling at night to keep my arm down, it also tied around my back and had a block to keep it in a comfortable position. I wore it when I had my rotator cuff repaired. I slept with that probably the first week with pillows propped all around me. I stayed on my back most of the night but started to roll and was not comfortable. I'm finally 3 weeks out and am sleeping much better. I do try and sleep on my back so I don't lift my arm. The first week was annoying, but It has gotten much better. Best of luck to you
