Yeah, got the PM 8-Oct. Got stiff shoulder because anytime I wanted to use the arm people started yelling at me to stop. So the shoulder got stiff.
I've got stretch pain from where they put the PM. Sympathetic pain in the back from where they put the PM. Pain in the jaw from where they put the leads in the vein under the collar bone.
Ice on the back followed by heating pad. Mild exercise and it's getting better. They told me Tylenol.
The pain and stiff shoulder is a lot better than the alternative. Gotta have something to bitch about, huh?
Hang in there. It gets better. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the comments, i received the surgons report in post today, he added he struggled to fit the wires were he wanted so had to go another route ( my words not his ) also i think it was harder as it was placed on my right side, and high up just under coller bone , so i think it was nerve pain, it lasted 3 days but has cleared now, .
You know you're wired when...
You can finally prove that you have a heart.

Lack of movement and sleeping in odd positions while trying to get comfortable while we're sore lead to all sorts of muscular issues. Ice and maybe ibuprofen should help. Ice is best for spasms, heating pad is best for stiffness. Try both and see how you feel. When I've had bad spasms, alternating felt best.
The best way to avoid it is to use the arm. Don't lift anything heavy and don't raise it high, other than that try your best to use it normally.
