Nanostim Leadless Pacing

Is anyone aware of this device. I need to be paced and i'm aware they are only available in EU countries. Does anyone know of the disadvantages compared to proven units?

If you search leadless pacemaker, this has come up here several times in the last few weeks and there are links to articles. It is being tested on a very limited basis and the requirements are pretty strict, almost no data because they are so new. I suspect it will be a few years before it's more commonly available.

Just approved for clinical trial in the US

I haven't seen the report myself, but a fellow rep told me it's through the FDA and they should start implanting them in a clinical trial very soon in the US.

They are single chamber only and don't have a lot of bells and whistles yet.
