ups and downs

Hi! Well it is 6 weeks post op and for the most part, I feel good. I was having chest pain/heaviness and bouts of lightheadedness so I went to see the EP yesterday. He decided to do another interregation and found out I am very sensitive to being paced. I was pacing 75-100% of the time. He "turned off" the PM, but really just moved my rhr to 40 instead of 60. (It was 29-40's when I got the PM). and he gave no upper hr limit. I went to the gym today and did better than last week, but that could also be because it's another week of healing! so confusing. I did cleans, jerks, snatches, bench pressing, overhead squats, front squats and back squats! (no deadlifts yet) My shoulders are very tight and have lots some mobility, but I am so HAPPY with what I can do now as compared to 6 weeks ago. I haven't gotten the tattoo yet, but I will post pictures when I do.

Ups and downs are normal but sounds like overall you are doing wonderfully! Wtg on getting back to the weights already, though I am chuckling a bit that you'd choose snatches and ohs over deadlifts to get back into it. You picked the hard ones ;o)

Now that you're past 6 weeks, you can actively work on the mobility. It'll be back before you know it!

snatches

Thanks Tracey. I know the order is odd! I have a PT and he made the program, I think he is afraid I will want my old weight back too soon on deadlifting. My OHS and Snatch was very light, 36lbs but I love I could do the whole complex movement today!!
Duke - Thank you!

You know you're wired when...

You run like the bionic man.
