I feel amazing!

2 weeks ago today I got my new friend and after a few scares (it was thought the lead had pierced my heart and was bleeding - but it was not) I feel amazing! like I could conquer the world (with my left arm not going above my shoulder)! No exercise yet, except the treadmill but it's coming soon!
Anyhow Thanks for all the responses on my posts and hopefully I will continue to feel amazing! and I hope anyone who is not feeling their best will feel better quickly.
OH and I actually wore a bra or sports top the other day - WOOHOO.

CONGRATS

So glad you are feeling much better!! I was so excited the day I too felt like I could conquer the world (of course minus the use of my left arm ;) I wanted to shout it from the roof tops!! Its great to hear the positives . Very bitter-sweet. I'm 6 weeks post op now, I attempted power yoga last week which was quite comical considering I couldn't raise my left arm above shoulder height. I'm going to attempt this again tomorrow, and am very encouraged at the progress. I'm so glad to hear your bump in the road wasn't as severe as they originally thought. I hope your recovery continues to go well!

Thank you!

Thank you! I am happy to read you also are feeling good :) Yoga is hard one handed/armed! Are you still restricted at week 6?
Good luck in your class tomorrow, I am sure you will do great!

Yes, congrats

I am 19 days post implant and I feel your positive "conquer the world" feeling. Like you seem, I haven't felt this good in a very, very, very long time.

But in the interest of full disclosure, I was driving Saturday and felt faint so gave up the seat to my wife to finish the drive. I have felt that three times now and am thinking it has something to do with my blood pressure. I am not ignoring it, but it is not going to rule me.

Thanks for posting the great positive post!

Arm restrictions

As of yesterday, I am a free woman!!!! Told to do whatever "normal" 31 year old women do. I assume that includes putting on my super woman cape and conquering the world. I was told to be careful, due to some concerns at my lead. I have a sharp pain at the head of my lead, and some movement of my pacemaker, but it's not enough to stop me from my Wonder Woman abilities. I go back in two months. Continue with your positive thoughts, and speedy recovery!!

Glad to hear

Glad to hear your positive comments. You keep seeing all the problems and think there is nothing but problems with PM's, implantation, etc. So it's really good to hear your positive situation. Maybe you can help some of the others?

I'm getting the feeling your attitude towards your PM has a lot to with how well it goes, how you feel, etc. Since I was unconscious at the I didn't have the pre-implantation anxiety, didn't have a choice in the manufacturer, and didn't go through - I want this - I don't want this - mental gyrations I've seen on this forum. Guess who had a surprise when he woke up!

Keep up the positive mental attitude. Hope to hear more good news in the future.
