Four years it was discovered that I had a hole in my heart. A septal repair was done and I went back to life as usual. Tow years I went to the VA Hospital because I thought I had pneumonia (I've had it 5times so I was sure!
I was introduced to a team of Cardeology Doctors. They informed me thah I hade A-fib.I was put on a box of pills. My condition has been worsening for the last two years.
I was scheduled for an ablation two weeks ago, but the head of the cardiology dept. said that my heart function was under 50% and a pacemaker offered me the best outcome.
The Dr. felt that acting quickly would resolve my a-fib and my heart was otherwise good.
