Hi All,
Does anyone has a child who suffers from CHB and no longer needs to have a pacemaker after the first one?

One week has passed and I must admit that each day I feel a little stronger.

The only time I've heard of CHB healing itself is when it's come about after an ablation. Sometimes in that case it will be temporary, but not often. For someone born with complete block, it's just not going to go away because we are missing an electrical connection. Most of us pace every beat so even if it were to improve, we'd still be a long way from not needing it. Sorry, I know that's not what you want to hear.
Once a few years ago when I went for a pm check, the tech noticed I was in 2nd degree block instead of 3rd degree and I was beating at 50 all on my own. I got so excited! Even though I know better, I had a few seconds of visions of this being my last battery. I asked how much I was pacing... I had dropped from 99.9 to 99.1%. For someone who has paced every beat for almost 20 years that's huge, but it's very little in the big picture.
