I received a letter today from my pacemaker clinic stating my transmitter has not sent a weekly reading in 3 weeks. I was not aware my transmitter was not working as the lights did not indicate a problem; nor did my cell phone adaptor. I have had a problem before and the darn thing went crazy. I called the 1800 number and followed the gentleman's instructions which included unplugging the machine and hitting the only button on the front... REALLY?!? 45 minutes of listening to the most annoying beep with some guy on the other line giving me no other advice. Eventually, he stated it must be the adaptor even though both devices stated they were working. Again later tonight I tried plugging it into my brothers house phone, again just kept beeping. Merlin's customer service states they will look into it and I need to call back Monday. I am very frustrated as I have been having issues. I was called into the pacemaker clinic two weeks ago to do an interrogation due to alerts they were receiving. So I'm slightly confused to when my companion stopped working. Last week my cardiologist requested a month long non loop recorder due to continued SVT episodes and alerts received. Sorry for the rant... Just frustrated with lack of communication with the monitor and separate adaptor . Has anyone else have had problems with their monitors? ... Grrrrrrrrr

But I think it will make me feel a lot better. My stamina to walk is already better, even right after surgery. They had me walk all around the floor before they would release me. I did so without being exhausted and winded the way I had been.

That's a real bummer. I have Boston Scientific and have a land line phone. Hope they get it straightened out.
