Professional massage

This may be a very silly question;however, I will ask anyway... How long after having a an ablation, lead extraction and pacemaker implant should one wait to have a professional massage? Thanks for any input

As long as they avoid any sore areas, it was ok to go today. Mine isn't new and I still won't let anyone near it. I've been seeing a PT off and on for my shoulder and she won't get close to my pm or wires.

I was bad

I was feeling good (well good compared to a few weeks ago ;)and my body has been so sore and stiff,so I went today. I go to a very legit spa where everyone is licensed. The gentleman that worked on me was very in tune to my special needs. He used a lighter pressure on my left chest side and around my clavicle . I was just wondering if maybe I should have waited. Those extra two weeks. Oh well.... The damage is already done :)

I had a pacemaker when I was 11. I never once thought I wasn't a 'normal kid' nor was I ever treated differently because of it. I could do everything all my friends were doing; I just happened to have a battery attached to my heart to help it work.
